WBWPC to Host Second Annual Westchester Power Circle on Sunday, May 21st

The public is cordially invited to the 2nd Annual Westchester Power Circle, hosted by the Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus. This event is an opportunity to connect with federal, state, county, and local elected officials, as well as political and judicial candidates seeking your vote.

Join us on Sunday, May 21st from 3 pm - 7 pm at Westchester Community College, Gateway Center, 75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla, NY, for a lively and spirited engagement between those who are currently serving and representing us, those campaigning and are on the ballot, hoping to be elected to represent us, and “We the People.”

This event is open to everyone, especially millennials and Gen Z, who are our future leaders and may have lost interest or hope in the political process. We encourage everyone who cares about our communities to join us in this diverse and powerful Power Circle.

Key features of the event:

• Opportunity to hear from elected officials

and political candidates

• Chance to have your voice heard and

your questions answered

• Emphasis on critical issues facing the

Black community

• Partnership with the League of Women Voters of Westchester, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, NAACP of NYC, and other Democratic and Republican Committees within Westchester

• Nominal ticket price of $25.00 for an individual, with marketing sponsorship packages available

The Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus was founded in 1976 with the express purpose of establishing a voice and creating a pathway for Black women interested in political office. This year, the emphasis will be on the critical issues facing the Black community, and we urge all members and other Black women in Westchester County to attend and let their voices be heard.

We look forward to seeing you at the Westchester Power Circle. Let’s make a difference and change how we want our nation to be; more diverse and inclusive.
