The Links COVID-19 Task Force Donates Tablets to Wartburg Residents

June 30 -- Westchester County (NY) Chapter of The Links Incorporated donated five tablets to The Wartburg as a part of its charitable response to COVID19 pandemic. These tablets will allow resident clients at The Wartburg to stay connected allowing them to see family & friends in real time, browse the web, read and send email, enjoy photos, watch videos, listen to music, play games, read e-books and much more. Terry A. Joyner, Chapter President, made the presentation to Mr. David Gentner, CEO of The Wartburg. Also in attendance were Link members Dozene Guishard, Dr. Belinda Miles and Dr. Traci Alexander. The Chapter also presented sweet treats to the essential healthcare workers at The Wartburg. The Wartburg, based in Mount Vernon, NY, enables seniors to live life to the fullest through excellence in healthcare and housing, which nurture body, mind and spirit.
